This has been a busy week for players on the Worldwide Renegades. Not only has the team been in Las Vegas all week competing in the prestigious Reebok Summer Championships, several of their players have also made decisions regarding their college careers. Shortly after Mfon Udofia announced his decision to commit to Georgia Tech, teammate Richard Howell announced he would be attending North Carolina State after graduation.

Howell, a 6’8 power forward from Marietta, Georgia selected N.C. State over several other top programs. He has received interest from Tennessee, Texas, Oregon and Indiana, but decided the Wolfpack were the best fit.

"I feel like it is the right place for me. I feel like I fit well in the program. I also think it was a good fit for me academically,” Howell told Rivals.com. “I didn't want to go somewhere and sit on the bench my first year. I want to make an impact my first year."

Howell will be joining several other GBOA stars when he gets on campus at N.C. State. GBOA North star, Scott Wood (SYF Players) and fellow GBOA South stars Lorenzo Brown and teammate Ryan Harrow (Lou Will Elite) have already made commitments to join Howell in what should turn out to be a very talented group of players for the next few years.
