The Nike Peach Jam Showcase took place over the weekend. South Carolina was hot with talent, college coaches, and competition…not to mention the weather! A big stand out at the tournament, from our very own GBOA North Region, was Marcus Jordan of the Rising Stars Gold. Jordan stole the spotlight at the Nike event, among some top high school athletes. The 6-foot-3 guard made it tough for defenders to keep him from the rim and scored with the very best of the court. According to Rivals.com, Jordan’s performance was probably “the best game-to-game effort he’s had on the grassroots circuit this year.” Jordan first made an appearance at GBOA’s North Region tournament in May.
