Gossip Girl is back from Atlanta, ya'll, and ready to dish on the doings down south.

First of all, congrats to the Atlanta Celtics on taking the GBOA South crown, and props to Team Breakdown who put on a show all weekend.  Kenny Boynton and Brandon Knight are the real deal, and the whole Team Breakdown squad won this girl over with their Southern hospitality...not to mention their sense of style.  I've always been a sucker for a man in pink.

Team Breakdown rolled through their games and I didn't think anyone had a chance to touch them, but in the end the home team stole this show and the Celtics put on an impressive display of team basketball, playing without star Derrick Favors on Sunday.  Straight off the plane from Africa, Favors looked like he was sleepwalking through his games on Saturday, so it was no surprise that he was not on the Celtics roster for Day 2.   His teammates got it done without him though, thanks to co-MVPs Manny Atkins and Andre Malone.  This isn't the most talkative team, but they get it done on the hardwood, so who am I to complain?

Altanta Celtics alum and current Hawks star, Josh Smith, made an appearance to support his old squad.  Smith played for the same Celtics team as Orlando Magic's Dwight Howard...now that's a combination I would like to see!  GBOA managed to squeeze in an interview with Josh, so keep you eyes peeled for the video on gboahoops.com.

More highlights from Atlanta to come soon.  Until then... XOXO
