The official invite lists won't be published until Thursday, June 26 but Gossip Girl has learned that Belmont Shore's Darius Morris has been invited to Nike's Steve Nash Skills Academy, taking place this week in Newark, New Jersey.  The Nash Camp traditionally invites the top 20 players at each position, for a total of 80 lucky young men who are selected to rub elbows and soak in wisdom from NBA greats like Nash himself.  Fresh off the NBA Player's Association's Top 100 camp, Morris can't wait to see how he stacks up to this new group of ballers.   

It's no surprise that Morris will be among this elite company.  Gossip Girl saw his impressive shooting and game managements skills on display in GBOA West, earning All-Tournament honors despite his team not qualifying for the second day of competition.  And I'm not the only one who has noticed...Michigan, USC, Washington State and Oregon State have also seen his potential and offered scholarships.  And with another year of high school left, surely there are more where those came from.  We know you want to see more of this talented baller, and you will...it looks like he will be blogging for GBOAhoops.com this summer. 

The rest of the roster for Steve Nash's camp will be released Thursday night, and I'd bet there will be plenty more GBOA players on it.  Gossip Girl will be back with updates as we get them...
