Looks like GBOA is going international.

The adidas Nations Grassroots Basketball Program selects the top adidas athletes from Africa, China, Europe, Latin America and the United States, forming national teams which participate and compete in camps throughout the summer and around the world.  This week Team USA takes off for Africa, where the camp will take place in Dakar, Senegal and Bamako, Mali.   The 40 player team includes GBOA players Derrick Favors, Lance Stephenson, Dexter Strickland, Dominic Cheek, Noel Johnson, Jeremy Tyler, Trey Zeigler, Trae Golden, Brandon Knight and Tristan Thompson.

The team returns next Thursday, giving Derrick, Noel, Trae and Brandon just one day to rest up for GBOA South.  So much for a relaxing summer vacation.
