“Nothing But The Dog In Me”…as funk-master George Clinton put it, is also a tune former Grassroots Canada star Juevol Myles is singing.  Myles chose Coach Kerry Rupp and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs as his future college basketball home.  The late addition of Myles is the icing on the cake for Coach Rupp, as he finalized one of the nations top recruiting classes.

Myles is a 6’1, 190 pound silky smooth point guard whose defense is matched with his superb basketball IQ.  Rupp stated “This is a terrific late signee…he [Myles] is a very tough, talented and committed player who enjoys doing all the little things like defending, rebounding down and making plays to his teammates ...what impresses me the most is his tremendous leadership ability and willingness to do whatever it takes to win.”

Myles won’t be without familiar faces as he joins former Grassroots Canada teammate and current LA Tech freshman Olu Ashaolu.  “I’m very excited to be coming to Louisiana Tech,” Myles said.  “Ruston is a great city to be in, and I’m excited to become a Bulldog!”

“He’s a great kid and a great team player,” Grassroots Coach Ro Russell stated.  “He was very instrumental to the success of our AAU program, and I’m certain that will pass on as he takes the next step to Louisiana Tech.”  LA Tech is a program on the rise and with Myles at the point these bulldogs bite will be much worse than their bark.
