Belmont Shore’s Kyle Fogg may be considered a late bloomer to some but the senior guard from Brea Olinda High School has bloomed quite nicely this spring.  Fogg’s successful spring combined with a senior season where he averaged 25 points a game to go along with nearly 5 assists and 9 rebounds caught the attention of many college coaches.

After flying under the radar for most of his high school career Fogg finally broke though to the main stage and has committed to play at the University of Arizona next fall.  The Wildcats began heavily recruiting Fogg after he played with his Belmont Shore team in a tournament hosted on the school’s campus.  Members of the Arizona coaching staff were impressed with the six foot three guard's skills and invited him to campus for an official visit.

Shortly after his visit Fogg decided to become a Wildcat, selecting Arizona over San Diego State, UNLV and Santa Clara as well as the possibility of prep school.  Fogg’s Belmont Shore coach Dinos Trigonis told Rivals.com he things his player will find success at Arizona.  “They play the style that he's used to," Trigonis said. "He should be able to play in it really well."

Trigonis also added that there would be a good chance for Fogg to be able to play and contribute right away due to Arizona’s Lack of depth, something that was very important to the senior.  The late addition of Fogg for the 2008 recruiting class gives Arizona one of the top classes of the year including another GBOA Alum, Brandon Jennings.
