Wisconsin’s Mr. Basketball, DeMarcus Phillips, has signed his official letter of intent to attend Marshalltown CC next fall. Phillip a six-foot-three guard was heavily sought after from many schools across the country, including Miami and Texas A&M. Phillips' choice to attend Marshalltown stemmed from the close relationship he has with assistant Cosea Copeland. Phillips led Milwaukee Washington to a 24-1 record this season and is playing for the Milwaukee Running Rebels at the GBOA North tournament this May.
