Antone Byrd has been having a great season with the Terry Porter Elite. At the recent King James tournament he averaged 22 ppg. This 6-foot-4 powerhouse player has been attracting heavy attention from recruiters, including Drake, South Dakota, UNLV, Iowa state, and Baylor Central State. When asked about Byrd’s skills on the court, Coach Jordan of the Terry Porter Elite said “This kid is a 6-foot-4 guard that can get it done and will not take a back seat to anyone.” Byrd and his fellow Terry Porter Elite teammates will be tough competition at the GBOA North tournament next weekend.
