June 10, 2008 The definition of pride is the state or feeling of being proud, which is what Juice All-Stars’ David Imes should be feeling about his play for Coach Tiny Morton’s Juice All-Stars this spring. It also has a different meaning…a group of lions…and that is exactly the route Imes will be taking in 2009 when he will be playing for the Hofstra University Pride. Imes committed to Coach Tom Pecora’s Hofstra program over the weekend after receiving offers from George Mason, VCU and Quinnipiac. He will be joined in 2009 by current Juice teammate Yves Jules as Brooklyn will be representing in Hempstead. The 6’6 Imes will be taking his court smarts, perimeter jump shot and ability to get to the rim with him next season. While he continues to develop over the summer, it will be interesting to see how loud his roar will be at the next level. |
