Brazilian winter
I’m still processing what I saw in Brazil. For now, some pictures:
Samba and black beans
Samba is the image that most people conjure when they think of Brazil. Feijoada, black bean stew, is probably what really unites the whole of Brazil. They converge at samba schools every month.

Cabo Sobral boasted 15,000 fortuneseekers at one point.

Social Palace
During the Berlin housing crisis in the 70s, a brand-new social housing was built in Schöneberg. Its palatial name, The Pallasseum, may have been fitting for this 500+ unit monolith. Unfortunately, it has not aged well.
