During this pandemic, I’ve made it a priority to take care of my immune system. So when I saw that Saje Natural Wellness had an essential oil blend called “Immune“, I had to check it out.
The antibacterial diffuser blend relieves symptoms of flu, such as colds and cough 🤒😷.
I’m not experiencing any symptoms at this time, praise God; however, I am enjoying the therapeutic benefits that this oil blend gives.
The following are the ingredients within the essential oil blend and some of the benefits:
Eucalyptus is used to soothe respiratory discomfort, but it is also known to relieve stress.
Lemon relieves flu-like symptoms, but it’s also known to refresh the mind.
Tea tree has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antifungal properties.
Myrtle helps with respiratory issues such as bronchitis, coughs and colds, and it’s helpful in calming the mind, easing anxiety and promoting restful sleep.
Pine needles are known to have anti-inflammatory effects.
Myrrh kills harmful bacteria. In Biblical times, myrrh incense helped to purify the air and prevent the spread of contagious diseases. It sounds like this particular oil is beneficial during this time.
Thymus works as an anti-spasmodic to help reduce coughs.
In addition to the therapeutic benefits, I like using a diffuser and essential oil blends to create an approachable environment.
Under normal circumstances, I would use a scent to infuse the home to encourage a warming and welcoming atmosphere. Although I’m not allowed to have guests now, I use fragrances as an excellent way to greet my husband when he comes home from working as an essential worker.
What are you doing to boost your immune system?
Using essential oils is just one way to help. I am also looking at my diet, rest and exercise as significant contributors as well. So I’m looking at ways to help make those areas of my life better as well.
Do you consider scents essential to set the atmosphere for your home?
I love making it easier for people to approach and feel comfortable enough to start conversations. Making my home more approachable is one of my goals.
